Too often, we move through life on auto pilot. As mothers, more often than not, we are caught in a whirlwind of diaper changing, bed time stories, school pick up/drop off, and just the overwhelming emotion of it all. Motherhood Observation is a blog series that gives you a chance to “stop and smell the roses”. It is a sharp-witted, painfully honest observation of motherhood.
Sometimes the roses smell like joy and that sense that you finally got something right in your life. Other times, it smells like, “WHY THE FUCK DID I HAVE KIDS?”, as you pull your hair or cry uncontrollably. All of it is okay. We’ve all been there and if you haven’t, the rest of us moms will be over here sipping our wine, waiting for you to catch up.
Truth is, most of motherhood makes no damn sense but you give it the old college try in hopes that your efforts are worth it. But, is it worth it? Let’s discuss! Join me as I share #mymotherhoodobservation
